About

A senior design team for shops that build tools

VoidStar Design gives US mold and die shops design capacity on demand. We don't build tools and we don't compete with you for the build: we design, you build.

Progressive die built from a VoidStar Design design

Led by a licensed mechanical engineer

The team is led by Jaytt F. Correa, a mechanical engineer licensed with Brazil's regional engineering council (CREA-PR 178152/D). Our work covers progressive dies, sheet-metal hardware, aluminum extrusions, medical devices, packaging-line machine parts and industrial monitoring software.

We are based in Maringá, Brazil, and work US Eastern business hours for our US clients.

How we work

  • NDA signed before any file exchange
  • Fixed price confirmed before we start
  • Two review calls on every package
  • Your standards, your component catalog, your title block
  • Design errors on our side fixed at no cost

Selected work

  • 3D assembly of the progressive die

    Stamping

Progressive die for a stainless band buckle

A buckle for the stainless-steel straps that hold fiber-optic cable hardware on utility poles. We designed the complete die. It was built, tried out and is running in production.

  • FEA stress plot of a tile roof hook

    Aluminum extrusion

Extruded solar roof mounts, simulated first

Custom aluminum profiles for rooftop solar: tile hooks and side clamps. Each one was validated with FEA before the die was cut, then prototyped and installed on real roofs.

  • Heated embryo table with two culture dishes

    Medical devices

    Precision parts for clinical use

Products taken from CAD to the shelf: a heated stage for embryo handling, a sperm-capacitation plate developed through several prototype rounds into a boxed product, and a surgical vacuum ring.
